"Our second visit within a couple of weeks- this time for the Xmas menu. Delicious food, warm hospitality, a gorgeous restaurant space, a fantastic menu and great value for money. Our favourite place to eat in Belfast - just wish it was open more evenings! Book in advance -you’ll not be disappointed….."
"Feels like fine dining at a relatively more affordable price point. We had a fantastic dinner here! Service was good, food was prompt. Coconut margarita was tasty as was all the food we had. I had smoked haddock acra, rib eye steak with fondant potatoes, and chocolate fondant for dessert. I also tasted some of my partner's food and I can confirm everything from the kitchen was delicious. The atmosphere and decor was lovely. However, they only accept cash tips as they cannot add it to the card bill. The steak is not pictured in the photos attached. Photos are of cocktail, starters and desserts."
"Tried here for a lunch with a friend having been intrigued. Run by the University of Ulster training staff in hospitality. Large banquettes with a professional welcome. Had a delicious Chicken and Avocado Salad to start which was so fresh and flavourful. Then Seabass with Pak Choy. Waitress advised before serving that it came with rice so checked did we still want the side of mash we had ordered which we decided against and much appreciated. Glass of Rose was 5.50 each so relatively inexpensive. A nice experience and I'd try here again."
"fantastic experience! amazing staff and the special was out of this world. Best value for the money in Belfast."
"The staff were of high-standard as we were greeted, with bread, olives and processco upon arrival. The food was exceptional. The destination to spend Valentine's and for the future. The interior was clean, spacious and warm. We also felt pleasantly surprised at the range of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu."
"It was work supper night so a group of us visited. The food was well presented, the staff was friendly and the food was very good. If you're not into the chunky chips or butter mash then these sides aren't for you. The restaurant doesn't accept Amex or the tips cannot be added to the bill if youre paying by card so better to carry a bit of cash with you."
"A wide selection of food on the menu to choose from & very focused on local sustainable food. We had beetroot soup, savoury scrolls & cod cheeks orzo on this visit & it was excellent.Very tasty. Very well priced. Excellent service from the hospitality students in training. Very welcoming in the centre of the city-hidden gem!"
"Spectacular food and service at Ulster University training kitchen and restaurant. Relatively newly opened (I visited the previous restaurant across the road on numerous occasions) the booth tables by the window were ideal for a working lunch meeting with my marketing client and trainee. I enjoyed a salmon starter with caviar, a seabass main, a dessert and an americano. My previous visit when I was completing a post graduate qualification at the University had my study buddy and I enjoying the fresh soup for a quick lunch. On both visits the professionalism was apparent and we received a warm welcome and attentive service throughout. The surroundings are high end and it is wonderful to see our next generation of hospitality professionals educated so practically and to be in a position to support their training by dining here. My office is in Cathedral Quarter and I anticipate I will become a regular."
